INGREDIENTS FOR SYRUP:1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. fresh blackberries (about 6 oz.)
INGREDIENTS FOR MARGARITAS:1 whole lime, plus 4 oz. fresh lime juice
1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. kosher salt
8 oz. blanco tequilla
2 oz. Cointreau

Step 1: Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a small pot while stirring constantly. Utilizing a potato masher or the back of a spoon, add the blackberries and crush them. Bring back to a boil and turn off the heat.
DIRECTIONS FOR SYRUP:
Step 2: Pour the juice into a heatproof liquid measuring cup using a fine-mesh strainer, pressing down on the particles with a spoon to assist remove all of the juice. (You ought to have roughly 3/4 cup of syrup.) Chill for approximately half an hour or until cold.
