We started with pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, and guava as their primary fruit flavours in Hawaiian Punch, which is a tropical fruit punch as opposed to a traditional fruit punch.
While I prefer to stay away from food colouring, eight drops will get me a vibrant Hawaiian Punch red if you're looking for that traditional Hawaiian Punch colour.Note that this relies on the type of food colouring you use, though.

Step 2: If you want the flavour punch to be more concentrated, use a 48-oz pitcher and omit the water. If using, add one to two drops of food colouring, whisk to mix, then add more as necessary to achieve the desired colour.
Step 2: Pour 2 to 3 cups of ice into the pitcher. For 10 to 15 minutes, or until cold, refrigerate.
